Pronounced add-ah-LEAN – rhymes with Tennis Queen
I have spent more than 30 years creating businesses, products, experiences, and communities.
My life has taken me through banking, construction, professional poker, art, luxury retail, tennis, entrepreneurship and now something I never expected: rebuilding my life after a traumatic brain injury.
Today, that journey has become Love Love Brain.
01 – My Story
I was born in Bath, England to Iranian parents and grew up across different cultures, countries, and experiences.

Entrepreneurship and creativity have always been part of my family. My mother owned ADELINE, a luxury children’s boutique on Canon Drive in Beverly Hills. My father built businesses in hospitality, real estate, and development while always having an eye for design.
Years later, I opened my own store only a few blocks away.
Creativity seems to run in the family.

Tennis Changed My Life 🎾
I did not pick up a tennis racket until I was 30.
I fell completely in love with the sport.
Tennis helped me lose 60 pounds and eventually progress from a beginner 2.5 player to an advanced 4.5 player.
That transformation inspired Love Love Tennis, my luxury tennis lifestyle brand.
I created the Court to Cocktails collection because I wanted beautiful tennis clothing that celebrated women’s bodies rather than asking women to fit into someone else’s idea of an athlete.
Love Love Tennis grew into a three-story Beverly Hills boutique and racket sports pro shop offering apparel, jewelry, bags, accessories, custom rackets, events, and tournaments.
Tennis became much more than a sport to me.
It became community.

My Roots – Heritage & Transformation
Tehran, Iran – My Parents’ Wedding. My parents married in Tehran, Iran. I was born in Bath, England – a heritage that spans continents and cultures.

Beverly Hills – Grandma Mahin Arjad. My grandmother Mahin Arjad took a tennis lesson in Beverly Hills – long before I ever picked up a racket at 30.

Finding peace and connection through equestrian pursuits – a passion that complements my love for tennis and wellness.

❤️ General Contracting | 1995 to 2002

Different businesses. Different industries.
But the common thread has always been the same:
Create something meaningful. Build relationships. Solve problems. Make things better.
03 – Then My Life Changed 🧠
After sustaining a traumatic brain injury, the life I knew changed dramatically.
Skills that once felt automatic became difficult.
Memory, communication, emotional regulation, decision-making, energy, independence and everyday activities suddenly required strategies, support and enormous effort.
I had spent decades building companies.
Now I had to learn how to rebuild myself.
My psychiatric service dog, Love Love Dog, aka Doggie, became an important part of that new life.

Recovery has taught me that progress does not always look impressive from the outside.
Sometimes progress is remembering something.
Sometimes it is asking for help.
Sometimes it is completing one task.
Sometimes giving 25% effort really is 100% of what you have available that day.

07 – Giving Back
Community has been part of my life long before my brain injury.
I founded Sweet Day LA, volunteered with organizations including The Midnight Mission and Marathon Kids, supported youth and tennis programs through Rotary, and now participate in brain injury communities and rehabilitation programs.
After my injury, I learned something even more important:
We are not meant to heal alone.
The support I have received from other survivors, caregivers, educators, therapists, friends, and community programs has changed my life.
Love Love Brain is one way I can pass some of that support forward.

Education Became Part of My Recovery 📚
Returning to school after my injury has become another form of rehabilitation.
My recent education has included acquired brain injury programs, spiritual psychology, personal development, and digital marketing studies through UCLA Extension.
Learning is no longer just about earning a certificate.
It is part of exercising my brain, rebuilding confidence, and discovering what I am capable of becoming.
International Experience – Hospitality & Operations in London
- General Manager, Cadillacs Nightclub – London, England. Managed operations and hospitality at a prestigious nightclub.
- Food & Beverage Manager, Equinox – Piccadilly Circus, London. Oversaw F&B operations at an iconic London nightclub.
A Life Lived Across Continents
My life has been blessed and colorful, shaped by living in diverse cities across Europe, the Middle East, and America: Bath (England), Tehran (Iran), South of France, Beverly Hills, San Diego, Austin, Newport Beach, Las Vegas, and London. Each location has enriched my perspective and contributed to my global outlook on business and community.
09 – Why I Created Love Love Brain ❤️❤️🧠
Love Love Brain grew out of my own recovery.
I wanted to create the kind of place I desperately needed after my injury: simple, welcoming, practical, hopeful, and easy for an injured brain to understand.
This is not a website about having all the answers.
It is a place for sharing what I am learning.
I share strategies for brain injury recovery, emotional regulation, relationships, daily living, neuroplasticity, wellness, spirituality, creativity, money, caregiving, and rebuilding a meaningful life.
I also share the voices and experiences of other survivors.
The website itself is part of my rehabilitation. Learning, writing, designing, organizing information, and creating again are helping me exercise abilities that were deeply affected by my injury.
Better Brain, Brighter Being
That does not mean becoming the person you were before.
Sometimes healing means discovering who you are now.
Still Becoming
My story is not finished.
I am still recovering.
Still learning.
Still making mistakes.
Still creating.
Still laughing.
And slowly building a life that looks different from the one I had before, but can still be meaningful, creative, loving, and full of possibility.
That is what Love Love Brain is really about.
